Jadine & Andrew are Alchemical. Two normal people who use happiness as their compass. This means, asking themselves, 'will doing..... make me happy?', if no is the answer, then, they don't do it. Pretty simple, huh.
Not particularly ambitious. Andrew & Jadine don't measure success by wealth or notoriety but, as contentment in life. This is Alchemical.
Meeting seven years ago, Jadine & Andrew quickly realised they work well together. In life and in business. Alchemical is their second incarnation combining Jadine's love of food, nutrition and sustainability and Andrew's 20+ years martial arts practice.
Alchemical saw a gap in the market, pretty rare these days but, there was no Natural Fibre Fight Wear on the grappling scene. With Jadine's deep knowledge of the health implications of microplastics on the individual and the environment, and Andrew's years of experience wearing and testing all of the high-profile brands of fight wear, they developed their own, World First Natural Fibre Rash Guards, Hemp Shorts and Hemp Lightweight Gi.
This saw the start of Alchemical and from there, the concept grew.
Sustainability is at the core of all we do.
It is not simply reducing waste and choosing ethical products (which we champion also!) but, sustainability in the personal sense. What is sustainable for our clients? How can they implement change to more health promoting practises that they can sustain in their daily lives? We see this personalised approach as key to enabling and educating our clients through our nutrition and movement services.
And then there is the Fight Wear!
Initially, Andrew just wanted something different, a hemp Gi. Being unable to purchase one for a price that wasn't ridiculous, he got a sample made and Loved it! We couldn't believe that these weren't easier to source. The fabric being far superior for purpose whilst also better for the planet. And so, Alchemical Fight Wear was born.

Offering Nutrition consultations coupled with a practitioner grade prescription service. Alchemical also offer movement training focusing on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ).
We have developed a literal World First collection of related products in the form of Natural Fightwear for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and No Gi Grappling, quality ethical apparel and more to come...
